STUDIO BRB

 THE NEED 

Studio BRB specializes in factual entertainment as well as scripted comedies and TV movies, along with being an umbrella company for BRB Docs and BRB Pictures. BRB Docs focuses on allowing storytellers to tell their stories to the world through network relationships built through the whole Studio BRB brand. In contrast, BRB Pictures focuses on creating a bigger and better name for Vancouver's film production reputation by combining fantastic Vancouver crew resources and an excellent final product. The branding needs for Studio BRB and its sister companies were to have a cheeky look while staying professional to get their company's personality of "quirky, but still serious" across to their audience. 

 THE SOLUTION 

Targeted at a more young professional audience, the logos and brand created for Studio BRB are fun and modern. The ask was to have a rabbit as their main icon as the idea of a rabbit relates to motion; however, it needed to have some quirkiness to it! For each company, a colour and quirky element were added to each rabbit to give each branch of Studio BRB their own personalities relating back to what each company stands for. A skeleton was chosen for the leading brand of Studio BRB as it's the focal company and holds everything up. We gave a heart to the BRB Pictures rabbit as most of the films created under this name are feel-good movies. And lastly, spectacles for BRB Docs to, of course, give the humorous look of a researching professor rabbit.
